What We Do
Life changing adventures
Our sail-training adventures of two to five days enable a range of programmes to suit the participating school or organisation.
In this environment young people learn about personality, learning styles, passions and aptitudes in themselves and in others, along with personal and group safety.
Groups of 12 to 40 children are divided into smaller groups or ‘watches’ where responsibility to and for the team are crucial to the outcome of almost every task on board.
In addition every Mission Adventure involves physical work: from leaving port to return, the children learn the importance of contributing to community life.
As all this unfolds throughout the adventure: leadership develops, fears are overcome and the tight-knit community creates memories for life.

Thoughts
-
It is the set of the sails, not the direction of the wind that determines which way we will go.
