What is Mission Adventure Trust?
Mission Adventure Trust (MAT) is a new group formed to bring adventure back into mission. We have settled on our current structure after 25 years of developing the vision for sailing ships to serve our many-islanded nation.
Why?
As Kiwis, we pride ourselves on being able to go anywhere and
do anything...
But we haven't passed this on to our young people... yet
It is now time to help these youngsters have fun while making a
difference in their lives and in the lives of others
Keys
- away from the usual distractions- working with the whole person
- fun environment
How?
Our yacht, Maggie, is great for working around the coast as there are so many
islands. She is a 79 foot schooner suitable for rough seas as
well as shallow entrances to rivers and estuaries.
